Steel cages

Begin here.

Reina turned away from the human man the stood before her. Her cage like all the rest was small, to small for her to be in. Reina had been in this place for more then two years, because she was one of the hardest hybrids to handle. She was fire and fire was her, the power of made her feel alive. With that power though came danger and death, with that kind of power no one wanted to be her handler. Reina gave a small exhale of breath and continued to watch the moon that had picked it's light in between the bars of the small window at the top of the caged area. Reina began to circle her cage like a wild animal placing itself for a fight. Her wolf form was small, but she always ending up running into part of the cage no matter what she did. Lifting her nose Reina could smell other hybrids within the area. Birds, snakes, dogs, cats, wolves, tigers, horses and lions all that were half human and half wild thing.

Then her ears picked up and Reina could hear that sound of foot steps in the hall. Animal kids cried out and then there came a rough voice "Why are they in cages?" The voice was male Reina could tell by that, but something about it made her wonder. "They are in there because they are still wild...You want all those animals out and killing?" Said one of the many scientist that came into Reina's area. She hated this one especially because sometimes he could be cruel. The collar around Reina throat tightened has she heard the steps become nearer and nearer. Then they stop, but at the front of her cage. After a couple of minutes of rustling page the scientist bent down and looked within the cage. Giving Reina a smile that would make a baby cry he said to the other male "This is her...Number 028...Her names Reina...She’s has been injected with red wolf DNA. She is also able to control fire....Which makes her unstable, better watch it with this one boy."

Then the other male bent down to take a look at Reina who had now retreated to the back of her steel cage. The male looked fine, but so had the other three that were suppose to take care of her. "She looks frightened doc....You really think she will be good for me?" The scientist gave a small cough and said in return "She will be fine....If she gives you to much tried just say the binding word and you'll be fine....And if she gives you to much trouble well then you will be the forth and she will be dead. We can't have hybrids as wild as her around now can we? Anyway here is her pages I would think you should read them first...Then some back and I'll introduce you to our little fireball here." As the men walked away from Reina's cage she walked closer to the bars. Her last human handler and if she were to fail him like the others she would be dead. Curling herself around in a small ball Reina waited, for it was all she could do.

My eyes burned with pain, every light hurt to look at. I was in a large cage. I finally opened my eyes, not thinking about the pain. "W-what is this place?" I asked myself. I shouted but it didnt sound like myself an animal. I looked at my hands and body. Transformed into something, in shock i looked around and saw a lock. I started to throw myself against the lock. Growling and biting. I chewed the cold metal bars, my newly added strong fangs dug into the metal. I yelped in pain as the metal seems harder. I clawed at the floor and roof.

Untill i heard a noise. I looked to see two male coming my way. I growled and snarled at them. One was walking faster then the other. He reach the cage and kick it. "Shut up you stupid animal!" He said and i loss it. What was he talking about animal! I was no animal i was human! I looked up to see his face. I full grown man with blonde hair. He was wearing a black suit and red tie. I didnt like him. He was horrible, then it came to me. He was just like my uncle. I growled and forced my long paws out of the bars and try to attack. He kicked my paw with streght and looked at me, he grin. "You are a agressive one arent you boy." He said. Then man next to him read a piece of paper and talked. "This is hybrid 6660, his name is Matthew." The other blonde haired man looked at him in disust. "Matt?! Hybrids dont have NAMES!" He yelled and knock the piece of paper out of the others hands. "Now open the cage!" His temper was high. The other quickly opened the cage and moved away. I ran out and threw myself at the blonde hair man. Ready to kill him were he stood.

"Danger" he said without moving. I fell down and landed on the cold hard floor. He grabbed my ruff and dragged me to the door. "Listen hybrid! I dont like you and hope you hate me. You listen to me or i will kill you! Understood?!" He yelled. i stood and didnt look at him nor answer. He pushed me forward and out a large door.
Lots of people watching me walk. I hated it and i hated his place. I growled at all of them. The man kicked me and we walked on. My large claws tapping on the ground. He took me to a large hall and told me to go.

"Jeez Doc why do you always give me the ones that have the problems?" The young man said as he walked next to the scientist. The other male coughed again and flipping through some more papers said "Because you do so well with them....Remember that last one? Become one of the best trained we ever had.. Until his new handler killed him.. Pity that hybrid was one of our best. O well there are always more." Leon turned his eyes on the scientist now walking beside him. He had taken the job of handling about 3 years ago and he still didn't get how these guys could take humans and turn them into these things. "Not my place to judge just as long as I get paid." Leon thought as he started back toward the holding room. Reading the pagers in his hand Leon went over everything about this new hybrid. She was young about 19 and she had the power of fire. "Great.. Just what I need a teen age girl who can control fire." Leon thought to himself as he got to the door.

Reina woke as soon as she heard the foot steps. She turned to see the two men standing before her cage once more. Giving a small growl Reina back up and sat at the back of her cage. "Now Now dear you must come out...You don't want that collar to give you a jolt now do you?" The scientist said. Giving a small sigh Reina walked to the front of the cage and sat down, to show she was going to participate. "Good girl now Leon my boy open then cage and meet your new hybrid." the man said.

Leon took a couple of steps toward the cage and unlocked the door. Opening it he waited for the hybrid to move on him or attack, but nothing came. The small red wolf simple walked out and sat before him. Her eyes locked on his and her body tense. "Now good...Leon you can take her to her room and then I'll need to talk to you." The other man said as he walked to the door. Leon looked toward the red wolf and gave a smile "Now come on....Reina...Lets go."

Reina followed the young man, he was different from the others. Instead of trying to control her he made her feel somewhat human. Reina followed him out the door and back to her old room. Everything was still the same and Reina walked in with no problem. Turning around Reina sat on the floor and said softly "Thank you.." But the door had closed.

I awakened, furiously at what happend. "Where the heck am I?!" I looked at my body, obivously confused. I noticed I was in a cage. I started gripping the bars, trying to rip them open. I started biting, I got angry every second. I saw a man and a girl walking. I started to growl. He kicked me right in the face. I fell back and sat. Others growling, trying to break cages, wolfs, bears, etc. He said, "Shut up you dumb apes!" Silence fell over the room. "This is hybrid 223518, His name is Scooter." He opened the cage, I jumped right on the girl and about to attack. She said "Nevolia!" I fell hard to the ground. I got dragged, "I dont like you ya little fcking kid!" Angrily she dragged me out the door. She stared at me in disgust, as I turned human, I glared at her with my white eyes. As we went through the halls I stared at a dorm. She threw me in..I lined the door with ice, letting noone in.

Oh, sad.

As he was thrown back in his cage, I sat there, "I'm glad I'm in my cage. They cant hurt me here, especially my handler doesnt have permission to take me out. Or does she? She didnt know anyway. Thats good. I decided to pull out my book and write in it. As I stared at the other empty cages, I got a little lonely. A creak sounded in the room. I acted like I was asleep, curling on the floor of the cage. Turned out it was the scientest, I was in there for an hour. He opened the cage. I ran out into the halls.

<> As I awaken, I was in my cage. What was I doing here again? I was last in my bed. This is just like my dream! I think its true. Ill find out later. Right now I need to find out how to get out of here, and fast! I scratched the cages. I saw the empty cages, I got the cage open because it was loose. As I walked AWAY from the door, I looked through the window. Thinking of my death. How could it happen so early? Why can't I stay living? These questions can't be answered until I find out whats going on.

Reina waited for the scientist to come. The small cage made her feel sad and she wondered what else they wanted with her. Sadly she waited.

Rei starts to hear my voice, and my handler. Some dragging sounds are heard. The door slams open, and I'm thrown back into my cage. My handler then said, "Your staying in here. I dont want you to roam for now!" She laughs happily.

"I don't get it..how can such a pretty girl be so cruel!?!" Then I notice Rei.

"What are you in here f-- oh yeah.... they want you here until they find out who your paired with..well im gonna get locked in here for awhile."

Reina smiled at Scooter and said "You always seem to be around when I am...Well yes and no..They need to take some more blood and find if I can make babys." Reina gave a snort and said "Your handler is a mean witch...Ummm anyway I'm glad your nt hurt to bad.." Reina laid her head on the cage floor once more. "It's just a waiting game now" She said.

As he gets up, a crystal falls out of pocket and seems to slide out in front of rei's cage.."Wha..where'd my crystal go?!" As I stare at rei's cage, I'm about to get to the crystal until a door behind my cage opens... "Whats going on.." it moves back..closes.."Hmm..a little dark in here isnt it...I dont know what this is..." Then I think i know whats going on..my handler is punishing me...Then I yell.."HELP!" A screen appears. The handler tells me "Shut your mouth. Your going to be in here for awhile. You better get used to it!" I said, "Nah, I'ma get out NOW." Then I break the cage open and smash the wall to peices "Never thought I had that much fist power!"

Reina is up and snarls at Scooter's handler. Giving a bark Reina said "Leave him be!" Then the cage door opens and a hand grabs Reina by the neck. "Eclipse" The voice says and Reina falls to the floor in pain. She sees the cryatal laying on the floor and so she pushed it with her hind foot. Giving a small cough Reina says "Scooter be careful." Then she is taken to the scientist lab.

Starts running to the scientest lab, a strange white pattern goes around my whole body.."Whats this? Ohmygosh. She said it. She said good luck. Im invincable! Shes gonna be frightened in the scientest lab..time for me to get on in!!!"

Hardyhar har. Half of my cage posts are gone because they don't go with the story.

Reina felt cold metel undernether her. A bright light was shining in her eyes and she closed them. Reina heard a voice say above her "Ok thats enough blood now lets see if she can produce young.." Then a pain makes Reina yelp and then it's done. She feels a hand on her head and then the voice again saying "Good..Now we just have to wait a couple of days for the blood then we will find out.."

Then Reina feels nothing as she falls asleep.

I tell reina to stop. I manage to catch up with her moving..I tell her to put my body down..I want to show her something..

Turnind around and Reina looked at the spirt. She placed Scooter's body on the ground and she followed his spirit. "What is it Scoot?" Reina asks as she continues to follow him.

I go near my body, I lay inside it. Then you see the blood disappear, and the stain gone from your shirt, with the cut gone.. "I can get back in my body when I please."

Reina stood back surprised by what she saw. "But..Your...Your dead....You can't be alive!" Reina walk back and fell, her eyes full of fear. She had never seen anyone do that before. Not in all her years of being in the dome. Reina trembled and wondered what would happen next.
